Mert had gone to Bali alone, and I redirected my own route to get there. When I saw the plan he had made for Ubud on MyTripDate, I messaged him. For three days we discovered rice terraces, hidden waterfalls and little beachside cafés together. Now we plan a new country every year — Bali was our first stop and it is still close to our hearts.
